“Their Own, Best-Kept Secret”
It’s a small shop, tucked away in a corner of a long, busy street. It doesn’t flare out at you as you drive by. But, for those who know and appreciate the art of tailored clothes, of beautiful fabrics and superb craftsmanship - for those who relish the joy of “cutting a fine figure”, as the saying goes, Francis Fine Clothier is the place to go.
Service. We hear that word so often. So many businesses parrot the word without ever delivering. But a small shop like Francis Fine Clothier knows that service as much as quality has to be paramount. And Francis customers will tell you that it is the highly personal and attentive service of owners Frank and Pina Greco that makes them return again and again.
Craftsmanship – and originality are qualities one expects in custom made clothes. From the overall cut itself to fine details like lapels and button holes on jackets to belt loops and pockets on pants, the whole and the parts must add up to a creation that is as unique as the person wearing the suit.
For designer Frank Mazzucca, Francis “reinvented belt loops – the Francis design features wide belt loops, allowing a neater, more appealing presentation” that is especially attractive to heavier set men. “He also redesigned the pockets of my suit trousers especially for me. For example, I like my pants flat with no pleats, so the pockets have to be linear, not puffy.”
Tailored specifically to meet each individual’s wishes, expectations and desired look, using the talents of jacket and pant specialists with years and years of experience – that, too, is a hallmark of a Francis custom made suit.
Mazzucca adds, “Frank is a master tailor and Pina knows design, but they are their own best- kept secret.”
While their store may be a “best-kept” secret tucked away on a busy street, there is no secret about the outstanding quality and craftsmanship of a Francis Fine Clothier suit – a suit that speaks volumes about each customer who proudly wears one.
